Dadeland Mall Expansion

The modernization and expansion of the Kendall Wing at the Dadeland Mall consisted of demolishing an existing structure and rebuilding a new two-story building in its place. Renovations within the mall included adding escalators and bridged walkways, building an additional two stories on top of the parking garage, and expanding the mall’s front entrance. In order to maintain the mall’s daily functions, field crews were required to complete the work in phases under multiple permits along with strategic nighttime work.
